W. Rex Woods (withdrew 1979) and James L Durham
(retired 1988), formed our Firm, as a partnership in Salina, Kansas,
in December 1964. The company continued to grow through an expansion
of services and eventually opened offices in Beloit, Kansas (1965),
Clay Center, Kansas (1969), and Holdrege, Nebraska (1979).
During 1969 three partners, Charles B. Reid (retired
1997), W. Jerome Heidrick (retired 1998), and Larry W. McCoach
(retired 2001), were admitted, and J. Mark Woodruff became a partner
in 1974. In 1983, the partnership was incorporated and three additional
principals were admitted: David Rosenthal, Douglas Edwards, and
James Trower.
Early in 1986, the Firm acquired the Holdrege practice
of Larsen, Schroeder & Associates, merging that practice into
the Holdrege client base, and in December 2000, we successfully
merged into our Firm the practice of Waldo Rost in Holdrege. In
the same year, Jeffrey L. Wheeler became a principal. As of January
1, 2004, Ms. Bonnie S. Sanderson, CPA, became a shareholder in
the Firm. She works out of the Salina office.
The Company currently operates four offices, three
in Kansas, and one in Nebraska. Our home office in Salina is our
data processing center and is the administrative office. Our satellite
offices have resident principals, staff accountants, and clerical
assistance as necessary.
